“A creative and relational workshop inviting supervisors to reflect, create, and cultivate cultural humility through curiosity, empathy, and shared humanity.”

This reflective and experiential workshop invites supervisors to explore culture, privilege, empathy, and connection through creative and relational processes. Using art-based reflection, embodied inquiry, and small-group dialogue, participants will deepen self-awareness and cultural humility in their supervisory practice. Drawing on her doctoral research Seeing Her Stories and international work with communities affected by oppression, Dr van Laar offers a gentle yet powerful space to engage difference with curiosity, courage, and care.

Participants will leave with strengthened awareness of their own cultural positioning, practical reflective tools to support intercultural connection, and renewed confidence in addressing difference with empathy, humility, and care.
