This is an accredited, in-person training experience specifically designed for supervisors and spiritual directors. Marcel Koper is a Mental Health Professional and experienced supervisor, and is approved by Mental Health First Aid Australia to provide this training. In supervision, you'll encounter mental health issues in your supervisees. This course will accredit you with critical skills for early intervention in mental health issues.

If you are a practising supervisor seeking accreditation with your professional association or an experienced practitioner who wants to learn about supervision in an environment in which you can put your learning into practice, this course may be right for you. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the inter-relational aspects of supervision, the tasks and responsibilities of the role. Whilst the theoretical underpinning of the program is existential-phenomenological, various supervision models are explored. You will be encouraged to develop a personal model of supervision that maximises best practice for you and your supervisees. Group supervision is often uncritically adopted as the cheaper and time-economic option, and yet there is a whole lot more going on than individual supervision in a group. This values-based, cross-professional, creative course explores the dynamics inherent in working in groups and introduces a range of creative modalities which can be effectively deployed.
