Personal: Married to Alison (42 years) and we have 2 adult children, and 1 Grandchild (yeah!). I began following Christ as my Lord and Saviour in 1974 after completing a BSc(Hons) degree. Awarded a PhD in Chemistry in 1979. After a Post-Doc in Hull, UK, I learnt a huge amount about Ministry doing a 2 year MTS program at Unichurch (St Matthias’, Centennial Park) and 4 years completing a BTh at Moore College, Sydney. Continued training and ministry as Assistant Minister (11 years) then Rector of Narellan Parish 20 years. Retired in 2015 after 1 year part time. Trained in Pastoral Supervision and commenced practise as a Pastoral Supervisor in 2018. I am an “Approved Supervisor” with the Anglican Church, Diocese of Sydney.
My focus in Pastoral Supervision is to provide opportunity for Rectors and Assistant Ministers (male and female) to reflect on their practise, with a view to taking a wide field of personal interactions as well as individual impact on self, using the scriptures as a lens to explore, examine and transform our life and practise.
Generally my meetings are with Zoom but face-to-face is available. I charge $120 per session (about 1 hour), and recommend meeting on a monthly basis. I hold annual membership with AAOS and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
